Emmanuel Church opened its doors in 1935, so to celebrate 90 years of spreading the Gospel and reaching out to the local community we are organising a number of events throughout the year.  We kicked things off over our birthday weekend,  1 & 2 February 2025 with a few hundred people joining us for some events and our Sunday service.  Below is a list of the future events we have planned for the coming year.  Please book the dates into your diary for now and check back here later when registration will open. 

Saturday 17 May – An evening with Paul Butler, former Bishop of Durham and right-hand man to the King at his Coronation

Saturday 21 June – Concert featuring the local and award winning Berryland Belles

Saturday 30 August – Summer BBQ

Saturday 11 October – Origins- Bible & Science, an evening with a local & renowned scientist
